We want to make the process as easy and understandable as possible so we’ve gathered a
few of our Frequently Asked Questions to help.
How large can you make a truss?
Maximum length is 80′ + up to 24″ overhangs. Maximum truss height we can build is 13′ – 10″ from peak to bottom of overhang, however, due to shipping constraints, we prefer to keep the truss height under 12′. Taller roofs will require the trusses to be built in two or more parts which can be framed together on site by the customer or their framing crew.
What is your lead time for fabrication of trusses?
Lead times vary depending on the volume of orders in the shop and on the size and complexity of the roof system. It generally varies between 2 and 6 weeks, but can be longer.
How long does it take to get a Truss Quotation?
Our goal is to turn a quote around in a week or less, volume and complexity may occasionally stretch that time out longer.
How much do Trusses cost?
They can vary anywhere from $20 to $2000 depending on size and complexity.
What size is the best value for TJIs?
We recommend a depth of 12″ if space allows. This will give you great support with the best value.
